The Sonoma County Democratic Party is announcing the following openings on our Central Committee, the governing body of the SCDP:

  • 1 open seat in District 2 (City of Petaluma, City of Cotati, a portion of Rohnert Park and the unincorporated communities of Penngrove, Two Rock and Bloomfield)
  • 1 open seat in District 3 (Most of central Santa Rosa and the City of Rohnert Park (east of Highway 101).
  • 3 open seats in District 5 (Northwest Sonoma County: the coast, lower Russian River area, Sebastopol and the west and southwest Santa Rosa areas, extending into Highway 101).

To be eligible, you must be a Democrat who is currently registered and residing in the district from which the election is sought. To confirm your Supervisorial District, click here: https://sonomacounty.ca.gov/Board-of-Supervisors/District-Lookup/

To apply, send a brief note or bio no later than 6:30 pm on January 11 to Pat Sabo, Chair (p.sabo@att.net) and Manny Baldenegro, Corresponding Secretary (mannyc.baldenegrojr@gmail.com), stating why you would like to serve and why you should be chosen to represent your District.

You will receive a response with additional information and an invitation to stand for election at the next public meeting of the SCDP, at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, January 12 via Zoom.
